Profile

We believe we can build a better world/society by:

  • Alleviating hunger, poverty & diseases.

    Providing better education and safe drinking water.

  • Supporting lasting unity & peace among people of different races, cultures and religious backgrounds.

  • The parent organization was founded in Sierra Leone, West Africa in the 1960s.

    FPU-Georgia was launched in August of 2002 and is a registered non-profit organization in the state of Georgia, USA. IRS DLN number: 17053035010024.

  • Since its inception, FPU-Georgia has undertaken innovative and humanitarian projects like "The Amputee Project" in Freetown, Sierra Leone, "The Genesis Shelter" (for homeless newborn babies and their mothers) and the "The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Project" in Atlanta, Georgia.
