parent organization was founded in Sierra Leone, West
Africa in the 1960s.
FPU-Georgia was launched in August of 2002 and is a registered
non-profit organization in the state of Georgia, USA. IRS DLN number: 17053035010024.

Since
its inception, FPU-Georgia has undertaken innovative
and humanitarian projects like "The Amputee Project"
in Freetown, Sierra Leone, "The Genesis Shelter"
(for homeless newborn babies and their mothers) and
the "The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service
Project" in Atlanta, Georgia.
